Garth Hewitt Concert

On Friday 30th January The Heatons U.R.C hosted Garth Hewitt in concert. It was a fantastic night attended by over 150 people. They were entertained as well as being moved and challenged with some of Garth's stories from Palestine. There were also opportunities to buy olive wood carvings direct from the West Bank and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign also sold other Palestinian goods. The night was organised to raise money for the Crow's Nest children’s playground in Beit Sahour and it was great to know that we managed to raise about £1500, thank you to all who came and gave their support.
